Föräldrarna till de flickor som får stöd till skolgång måste förstå och underteckna ett dokument där de lovar att respektera flickornas studier och att inte lova bort eller gifta bort henne före 18 års ålder.Här är första utkastet till texten för Legal paper.När vi startade projektet blev flickorna ofta bortgifta från 13 års ålder, detta var också orsaken att ta flickan från skolan. Nu har giftermålsåldern blivit 16-18 år. Det är inte lagligt förrän 18 år.

LEGAL LETTER
Föräldrarna till de flickor som får stöd till skolgång måste förstå och underteckna ett dokument där de lovar att respektera flickornas studier och att inte lova bort eller gifta bort henne före 18 års ålder.Här är första utkastet till texten för Legal paper.När vi startade projektet blev flickorna ofta bortgifta från 13 års ålder, detta var också orsaken att ta flickan från skolan. LEGAL LETTER
We the parents of NN agree to the importance for children to get good education, boys as well as
girls.
We are most happy that our girl NN can get the possibility to study in a (small) private school, through Mahila aur Pani Embroidery Club.
We realize that this is an effort from sincere people in Sweden and elsewhere. It is on our responsibility to give theese girls time and support for their studies.
For the girl and her family it is a blessing and a gift to get this opportunity to give a good future for NN.
We realize that the studies will take time for the girl. It will also become an increasing interest and effort for her..We understand that for her it would be a big disappointment to start an education and then be forced to interrupt it for reasons out of her choice. For instance to get married before the age of 18. We therefore admit that she will be allowed to fulfill her studies and not get promised for marriage or get married before the age of 18, which is the legal age for marriage.

Kulvinder with all the pappers that she has been working hard to get the parents to show up and to sign! Marriage is allowed from 18 years of age, but traditionally the girls get married from 13 years.
This was the case when we started our project, but now they wait until 16-18 years.
